Accreditation: The Australian 4WD Academy is a Registered Training Organisation
Qualifications: All Australian 4WD Academy course qualifications are nationally recognised. Courses are designed in line with units as mentioned on our course information pages and national standards. The Australian 4WD Academy reserves the right to withhold student certification, if that student is not able to meet the criteria necessary to achieve certification.
Company Risk Policy: Upon booking a course, students accept that some courses may include activities which may involve certain risks and dangers beyond our control. The Australian 4WD Academy takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of its students. It is important the students listen to their instructor for the duration of course.
Your teacher will make every effort to ensure that students are able to access all lessons. The Australian 4WD Academy reserves the right to change some course activities due to the abnormal extremes of weather, road closures, emergency incidents or other exceptional circumstances beyond our control, to ensure the safety of passengers. This includes, cultural, seasonal flooding, or bad weather conditions including excessive rain or heat.
Where it is necessary for us to cancel a course prior to its commencement, due to circumstances beyond our control (ie flood, road closures, mechanical breakdowns etc.) the Australian 4WD Academy will endeavour to provide an alternative course date for participants.
Any expenses incurred because of a delay beyond our control shall not be our responsibility. We will endeavour to provide alternative times and dates for course completion where possible.
We accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of or to any property, or repairs or recovery costs to participants' vehicles. We retain the right to remove any person from course activities, where the safety of other students or teacher is at risk.
Dispute Resolution: Should any dispute arise between The Australian 4WD Academy and a student, it is agreed that no formal proceedings in a Court or Tribunal will commence until after the following process has been complied with:
1. The complaint or dispute has been received by us in writing ("the notice").
2. Upon receiving the written notice, parties will in good faith, attempt to resolve the dispute by negotiation or mediation or as otherwise agreed.
3. If unresolved, mediation will be conducted in accordance with Rules and Regulations of the NSW Law Society. If the parties cannot agree, the Mediator will be appointed by the President of the Law Society of NSW, or nominee.
Health: Due to the nature of the course, students should ensure they are in good health before commencing participation. If you are unsure, check with your doctor. It is the students' responsibility to ensure they are in a state of health that will allow them to participate in the tour. Please notify us of any medical condition of which we should be aware. If you are taking medication, ensure you carry sufficient supplies for the duration of the course. We request that students provide us with contact details of another person in case of an emergency.
Our Guarantee: We will meet the reasonable expectations of each customer to the best of our ability. Customer concerns and queries will be fairly and amicably dealt with as soon as practicable.
Prices: All prices quoted are correct for current year.
Cancellation by Client: If for any reason at all a client cancels within 45 days of commencement of a booked training course there will be a charge of 50% of the training fees based on the number of participants booked on the course, plus all travel expenses as per standard rates applicable. If for any reason at all a client cancels within 30 days of commencement of a booked training course there will be a charge of 100% of the training fees based on the number of participants booked on the course, plus all travel expenses as per the standard rates applicable. These cancellation fees and time frames apply equally to the cancellation of either all participants or individual participants on a booked course.
Photographs: Photographs taken by our teachers during course activities may be used for advertisement purposes. This may include publication materials such as brochures, magazine or television adverts. It may also include publication on social media pages. If you do not want your photograph to be used for these purposes, please make sure to tell our staff. You may also contact our office if you would like a copy of any photographs taken of you while completing your course.
